HiYa!

Charlie came home last night with the remnants of the wooden board he broke with a kick. It was the requirement for his first karate belt (dragon belt). He was very excited, as was Claire, who now will be joining him as a karate practitioner.

Claire's First Recital

Claire worked very hard for the last few weeks learning "O Come All Ye Faithful" for Saturday's piano recital. I think mommy and daddy were more nervous than she was.

Diaaaa!

Charlie joined Master Ray at East West Martial Arts last night for his first of two one-on-one training sessions. He will be in the "Little Dragons" class and will be learning listening skills and self discipline. Gretchen's doing Krav Maga at East West too. I'm going to need to start lessons there myself lest the rest of my family intimidate me into submission.

We decided to take Charlie in to be seen upon a 2nd opinion from a
doctor friend. In and out in 45 minutes with 3 stitches. What a trooper!

We ordered a lab coat for Claire's new school year (it was actually on
the list of school supplies), and it came with a little stethoscope.
