Homecoming 2005
Gretchen and I went back to UPS for our tenth (!!) reunion homecoming. We hooked up with Rachelle, Jen and Angie and ran through the old haunts. I think the best part was wandering around campus and having everyone reminisce about our days there. Mostly it was, "I kissed so-and-so right here," and "wow, I puked in this bush 10 years ago!"
The student union building still smelled the same, like pizza and coffee. We went a little crazy in the bookstore, buying up t-shirts for me and Claire. We also spent some time perusing the reading lists of some old profs. It made Gretchen and I remember how our liberal arts education changed us as people, as well as our outlook on the rest of the world.
Of course, no trip to UPS would be complete without a visit to E9 for some brews. Next time we go, Gretchen's going to drink beer, instead of water.
